    I read in a guidebook that Space Mountain will be closed for "much of 2009" but has it been published when it will be closed? We are visiting in June '09 (my kids' first trip), and this ride is one that my husband and I both remember as a favorit

    Hi Kristen,  I wish I could bring better news, but it appears that Space Mountain will be under refurbishment during your June trip, remaining closed for much of 2009.  The good news is this will make Space Mountain an even more exciting ride for you to enjoy on your next visit!

    With this being your kids' first trip, I hope they find many other exciting attractions to enjoy!  Make sure they stop by guest services when entering the park to get their "First Visit" button.
