    I read that gratuity is not included in the price of meals at table service restaurants. While using the dining plan how do I leave a tip? Also, is it expected to tip at quick service restaurants?

    Hi Corrie,

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

    You are correct, gratuity is not included with the Disney Dining Plan, however it is very easy to leave gratuity at Table-Service and Signature Dining Locations.  When you receive your cheque at the end of your meal, there will be a suggested amount at the bottom of the cheque.  You are free to leave any amount you feel appropriate, but this takes the guesswork out of the process.  From there, you will fill in the amount you would like to leave and the Cast Member will process your cheque. Most Dining Locations accept cash, Disney Gift Cards, MagicBand charge or Visa to take care of your gratuity and extra charges if need be. 

    Quick-Service Dining locations are counter service style restaurants so there is no need to leave gratuity.  Just order your meal, find a table and enjoy!
