    I read that Genie will allow you to plan your park day on the Disneyworld app. Will this carry over to WDW MDE website similar to how it works between site and app now? I would love to pre-select the experiences on the website prior to park arrival.

    Hello, Burt! Thanks so much for visiting us to chat about Disney Genie! This exciting new service is coming this fall and will allow Guests to plan out their vacations based on predictive information regarding projected wait times, get suggestions based on interests, and even purchase additional experiences! Disney Genie+ will allow Guests to pick from available experiences, one at a time, beginning the morning of their Theme Park visit. However, you can begin making plans before that time, both on the My Disney Experience Mobile App and online via your My Disney Experience Account! 

    These days, a mobile device (and a backup battery charger) are essential to a Walt Disney World vacation. However, only one Guest per party will truly need to have the device cued up and ready, and pre-planning before entering the Theme Park will likely make it possible for you to have to spend less time “plugged in” compared to not making selections in advance. However, this is the perfect thing to take care of during your trip to the Parks in the morning while riding the Disney Resort Bus, Ferry Disney Skyliner, or Monorail! 

    There are still details to be revealed, but it is fair to say that Disney Genie will bring exciting new possibilities of vacation customization and, dare I say, some spontaneity to your Disney vacations!
