Read that you can get a free snorkel/mask for TL shark reef area. Is this true? If so how to they clean it between people?

Hi Deborah! Thanks for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Panel! It is true, masks and snorkels are provided to each guest for free. The masks and snorkels are cleaned on the premises. In fact, on busy days, guests may have to wait for equipment while those guests with their own masks and snorkels are sometimes allowed to move ahead into the pool (but not always). Also, sometimes when the equipment comes out, it is hot, so be prepared to hold the masks for any young children for a while. Shark Reef is a lot of fun and definitely worth doing. I hope this helps!
