I read that there are few weight requirements. That's great but my question is: will I be able to fit on the rides. My body is very oddly shaped. I am very thin from the waist down but have a barrel chest and a fairly large belly.

    Hi Derrick!

I can assure you, I wrote the book on "oddly shaped." When someone tells you "Marriage suits you well," that's when you know you're in trouble (and I get this a lot lately). That svelte body I used to have has now given way to...well, you get the idea :-)

One thing I know is the Disney Imagineers have spent an incredible amount of time making sure all ride seats accommodate people of all shapes and sizes. I'm a big guy, but I can say I haven't had any major issues fitting on rides at the parks. Plus, those guards that pull down on top of you generally have a ton of cushion in between. Which means there's a lot of slack it can give to allow it to snap in as it's being pulled down over your head and body.

The Tea Cup ride at Magic Kingdom is the only ride I can say may be tough for the big belly, but somehow, I made it work :-)

Otherwise, I'm confident you're going to be fine. Have a terrific time when you go!
