I’ve read there is a $5 fee for every box you have delivered to a Disney resort, but I’ve read that if it’s delivered from Amazon prime Now- only prime NOW , there is no fee. Is there any truth to this?

    Hi Alex!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You've come to the right place as you prepare to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, and we can't wait to help you with all of your Walt Disney World Resort planning questions!

Mailing supplies that you don't want to pack, or having last-minute needs like a case of water delivered do your Disney Resort Hotel is a fanatic way to travel. I visited in May with three of my best mom-friends, our collective five children, and zero spouses. We ended up placing three or four same-day delivery orders over five nights from various locations. I'm not going to lie, the convenience of not having to run to the store ourselves was worth its weight in gold.

Technically speaking, if something that you order from a non-Disney entity is to be dropped off at the Front Desk of your Resort Hotel because you're out enjoying Disney's Theme Parks, are at a Dining reservation or you have not yet arrived and checked-in to your room, you will incur the $5 per package delivery fee. Some delivery services are the kind where you schedule a timed meet-up with the deliverer, like with food from a restaurant or some app-based grocery pickup services. If you are able to schedule a meet-up in person in the lobby or in the parking lot, then this fee won't apply.

Pro Tip: There are a few local grocery delivery services, like Garden Grocer, who do have relationships with Disney's Resort Hotels where not only will your items be delivered to your guest room while you're out and about, cold items will even be properly stored.

Bonus Pro Tip: Be sure to keep up with the Disney Parks Blog for all of the newest Disney Parks news!

We'll See You Real Soon, Alex!
