Welcome aboard, Lisa!
It sounds like you will be embarking on a magical cruise very soon. Your question was cut, but I am assuming that you are exploring the wonders of Alaska on this upcoming voyage of yours? Nonetheless, you've got magical moments waiting for you on the Disney Cruise. How exciting!
You are correct. The famous royal sisters made a visit to Alaska and they were onboard the Disney Wonder. Quite a few guests were pleasantly surprised, and I'm really hoping that they make more visits to the whole fleet very soon. There are way too many prince and princesses looking forward to seeing them in the flesh! That movie is so popular... and I know too many families who have been singing the Frozen tunes :-).
The Disney Cruise Alaskan voyage's
Meet Anna and Elsa event was available on a very limited basis. Embarkation day is when the tickets could be picked up at Studio Sea on a first come first served basis, between 12noon-3pm only. It was not very easy to know this prior to the cruise, so it really helps when guests read through the Personal Navigator first before exploring around the ship when they first get on board. Space is limited, so if they do offer this again in the same format, it's in your best interest to check in early and to read through the Personal Navigator when you board (it will be on the front page). If you have a smart phone, you can also download the new
Disney Cruise Navigator App. It's a free app even when on board the ship.
I'm crossing my fingers that they'll be cruising with you, Lisa. Have your camera ready, 'coz your little ones' smiles will be worth all the wait.
Bon voyage!
