Hello, I read Disney is now offering Trip insurance again. I just wanted to confirm this offer was also good for Canadian Residents? I thought I read it was not. If it is not can you recommend where I am able to get my trip insured? Thanks

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I usually purchase my travel insurance separately from my individual vacation purchases because I purchase “yearly” coverage that covers every trip that I take in a year, which means that I’ve never purchased it specifically through Disney (or any other destination, for that matter). That being said, I took a brief look at the Description of coverage that is provided to Walt Disney World Resort Guests and it seems as though coverage is available to non-U.S. residents if they purchase their vacation package directly from Disney.

If you want more information about what this coverage entails, I strongly recommend that you contact Walt Disney World Resort and ask them any specific questions about the insurance coverage that you may have.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
