Hi there, Sheena!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise Line sailing is just around the corner! In just a few days you will be onboard the incredible Disney Fantasy for a week-long adventure at sea! The countdown is REALLY on now!!
One of the most unique perks of sailing with Disney Cruise Line is their
alcohol policy! As it states, Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (750ml max) OR 6 beers (12oz max) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at EACH port of call. So, at each port you visit, yes, you can bring on additional bottles. My husband always picks up beer or wine that is local to the port we are visiting before getting back on the ship so that he can enjoy the local brew onboard! You must carry on any bottles you bring aboard and if you choose to drink any of them with your dinner service you will be charged a corking fee.
Disney Cruise Line also offers wine packages that we have found to be a great option and value for dinner services. There are two different packages you can choose from and they can be
preordered or ordered once onboard. We also like that if you don’t finish a bottle at dinner, they will cork it for you and bring it out the following night at dinner.
There are also a variety of beverage tastings offered onboard for a nominal fee. These are so fun and give you an opportunity to try new things you may not venture out and try! You can book these prior to sailing through "My Cruise Activities" or you can check availability once onboard!
Wishing you a wonderful and magical adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
