I read on the Dis Deluxe Dining plan about having to be Cat. 2 /3 (or Tier 2/3) for certain dining experiences, what exactly is that?

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ciara Joleen!

If you are using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan on your upcoming vacation, you are in for such a treat because it's one of the best ways to try all the different delicious food that's up for grabs at Walt Disney World Resort. One of the best parts of the Disney Dining Plan is how flexible it is, and I think the Deluxe option really is the most flexible of all of them.

One of the ways that you can use your Disney Dining Plan credits is by redeeming them to see a really fun dinner show, like Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort or Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Both of these dining experiences have tiered seating in categories one, two, and three. When you redeem two Meal credits from your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, you can get tickets for the category two or category three seating, which are great seats for the show!

Other than seating at a dinner show, you might have also been reading about dining at a signature restaurant, which requires two Meal or Table-Service credits. Signature restaurants are fine dining experiences with incredible menus and dishes made from super high-quality, and often locally-sourced, ingredients. My husband and I absolutely love eating at signature restaurants, and some of our favorite dining experiences have been at those locations. We really love Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot, and of course, The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. If you make a reservation at one of these places, you will need to redeem two Meal credits on your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan for your meal but, in my opinion, it's totally worth it!

I hope this answers your questions, Ciara Joleen, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
