I have read many different things about temps in September. We are planning our trip for Sept 18-24 2011 for our twin daughters 16th birthday. We are redheads and can't do the heat well. Should we consider changing our dates for cooler weather?

Hi Kimberly (fellow mom of twins!)

I wish I could predict the weather to better help you out.  Who would've thought it would be so cold in Florida right now!!!

We always go to Florida in mid March and have always had warm weather except this past March it was warmer in our area of Canada than it was in Orlando!

September is usually a warm month.  If you are really worried about it and if it works with your schedule you could book your trip for October.

If you keep your travel dates and it is warm, remember to drink lots of water-it will help regulate your body temperature.

Have a magical vacation with your family!
