    I read that the most crowded time of year is the week of Dec 25-31. Unfortunatly due to Kids vacation this is the time of year when we will be able to visit Disney world. Is it still extremely crowded after new years? I'm thinking maybe Jan 2nd to start?

    Thanks for sending us your question!  As a teacher, I understand having to book travel dates during certain times of the year and the dilemma that most of our travel dates fall during the peak times at Walt Disney World Resort.  Even though the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort is extremely busy, I still absolutely love it!  The decorations are beautiful, and there is a festive feeling throughout the property!  You will notice a significant drop in crowd levels once the New Year comes along and the first week of January progresses.  I tend to stretch my Walt Disney World Vacations as much as possible after the New Year, in order to take advantage of the smaller crowds, while the decorations are still in place.
