I read that if a credit card is linked to your MagicBand you can make purchases throughout the parks with them. I read the charges don't actually get charged to your card until the end of the night OR if you spend 500$. Is this correct?

    Hello Ashley!
One of the great things about MagicBands is their seemingly "magical" ability to simplify the Walt Disney World experience.  These little beauties truly can connect nearly everything you need during your Disney vacation. You can use your MagicBand to enter the Parks, utilize FastPass+, connect your Memory Maker or PhotoPass images, utilize your Dining Plan (if added to your package), and charge back to your Disney Resort.

You are correct that if you would like to charge back to your Disney Resort you must provide a credit card. Also, this credit card will not be charged until you have reached a preset limit or the morning of your departure- whichever occurs first.  The typical preset limit is determined by the level of Resort where you are staying. Currently those limits are:  Value - $500; Moderate - $1,000; Deluxe - $1,500.

Don't hesitate to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any questions you might have. We love to help!
