Did I just read that correctly? You can visit the parks without cash/cards and charge everything back to your room? We were worried about losing $ and wallets etc. Is anything excluded? This is FANTASTIC...so is this panel. I visit, like 3 times a day!

Your enthusiasm is appreciated. We are just as thrilled to be helping families plan their trips to the Walt Disney World.

Yes, you can set up a room account at your Walt Disney World hotel and charge purchases back to your room.

Even most snack vendors in the theme parks now have the ability to accept “Your Key to the World” card.  There are very few places that do not accept your room charge. I would carry a little cash, but plan on putting the bulk of your expenses on your room account.

This magnetic key card serves as your room key too. It’ll display your vacation dates from check in to check out, your name, and other identifying information about your room account. When authorizing room charges on your key, be sure to sign the back of the card before departing the Front Desk. You will also be asked to show valid Photo ID. If you lose your card, notify Guest Services immediately.

Charging to your room will not be available at some stores that are not Disney-owned. You will find some of these in Downtown Disney, for example.
