Welcome BACK, Carrie!
I'm excited for your return 'home' to experience all of the
new magic at Walt Disney World Resort! Is your family ready to journey to Pandora - The World of Avatar and Play Big in Andy's Backyard? Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for news of anything else that will pop up between now and your vacation!
I can confirm that the Design-a-Tee location in Disney Springs has closed. However, there are still many other really great do-it-yourself souvenirs across
Disney Springs. One of my favorites is the D-Tech On Demand location in the Marketplace Co-Op. Here guests can design a custom cell phone cover, MagicBand and so much more. I created a cover in March and it still looks brand new. T-Rex has the world's only Build-A-Dino experience. Your daughter can pick a cup of specialty lego bricks or make her own lego people at the LEGO store. If she's a Star Wars fan, there's a build-your-own lightsaber station at Once Upon a Toy. At the Pearl Factory Kiosk you can pick your own pearl and have it set in a variety of jewelry while you wait. Plus many more!
There are also many fun food experiences at Disney Springs. Ghiradelli is a classic with all of the ways that you can customize a milkshake or sundae. But something fun (with a really great view) is the Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar. They have one of those awesome Freestyle Machines that literally has over 100 flavor combinations. For as little as $3 you can buy a cup that can be filled up to five times in one hour to try some really wacky combinations, like grape-Sprite or orange-vanilla Coke. There's even a neat tasting tray featuring soda from around the world!
We'll See You Real Soon, Carrie!
