I have read conflicting reports about crowd size for the month of December. Other times we have visited in the summer. Could you tell me what to expect in regards to crowds from Dec. 16-20, 2011? Thank you

    Hi Laurie,

Love to answer questions for my fellow Buckeyes! There are slightly different answers to this question depending on the how the Christmas holiday actually falls and how school systems have designed their winter breaks. I would imagine that the kids will not start getting our of school until the week of December 18th. Walt Disney World is least busy when kids are in school. I would say you will have low to moderate crowds your first couple of days. You will most likely find that the crowds swill begin to increase as the weekend rolls in. By the time you leave I would expect that  The House of Mouse will be buzzing with would be Christmas vacationers. Note: take time to visit some hotels. Each hotel has a different theme and Christmas tree. My favorite is the tree at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Also, make it a point to attend the Candlelight Processional. The production has a way of getting the Holiday Spirit deep into your soul. I hope my info has helped you and feel free to call on me for more vacation planning tips!
