I have read where you can combine cards up to a value of $1000 per card. My question is as far as buying tickets to the park. My total would be around $3200. Can I only use the one card of $1000 or is there a way around that?

    Hiya Shannon!

Thank you so much for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR at planDisney! I'm Kristen, and I'm happy to be your planEAR today!

Oh boy! It sounds like you'll be bringing your whole Club House to The Happiest Place on Earth. How exciting!! I'm also a big fan of buying and using Disney Gift Cards as a way to pre-pay for my Disney vacations. I love that I don't have to worry about credit card shock after returning home from my happy place, and I also love that this form of Mickey money can be used almost anywhere inside Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, and most of the Downtown Disney District. So be sure to get enough Disney Gift Cards that cover your meals, snacks, and souvenEARs too!

Yes, at the current time, Disney Gift Card amounts can be combined on DisneyGiftCard.com to one card to total up to *$1000.00. (On the home page, scroll down until you're almost at the bottom; look for the button that says 'My Cards' in the box that says 'Manage your cards all in one place!')

When purchasing Theme Park Admission Tickets or making a Disneyland Resort Hotel reservation online, only one Disney Gift Card may be used at one time. The trick to purchasing as many tickets as you need, Shannon, is to buy your passes one or two at a time in multiple transactions. You'll be able to assign these tickets to each member in your party and make Park Pass Reservations the same as had they all been in the same check-out, they'll just be spread across a few different emails.

Better yet, if you call the Ticket helpline, a wonderful Cast Member will be able to charge all of your tickets in one transaction using as many Disney Gift Cards as you have. This phone number is (714) 781-4636.

Bonus Tip: Did you know that Disney Gift Cards can now be used to pay for Mobile Food and Beverage Orders inside the Disneyland Mobile App? Disney Gift Cards cannot be stored inside the app the same way your credit card can, but the pro tip here is to save the gift card number + the access code in the note section of your phone; when it's time to checkout, all you need to do is copy and paste the info vs. struggle to read the tiny numbers each order.

I hope that this helped to plan your upcoming Disney days, Shannon! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
