Hi Moms, I read that children below 6 months (1year) on some cruises are not allowed to travel, is this true, also what would happen if we didn't have an infant when booking but our circumstances changed?Hope you can help, really want to cruise with Di

    Ahoy Adam –

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for asking this excellent question for pirate families who are planning on bringing infants and sea pups. It is true that babies need to be at least 6 months old to travel on Disney Cruise Line for most cruises.  There are three special cruises that infants are required to be at least 1 year old which are the cruises to Hawaii, the Trans-Atlantic crossings, and Panama Canal. If you are planning a cruise and happen to achieve pregnancy, then you are welcome to cruise as long as long as mama pirate is less than 24 weeks pregnant.  Once she is 24 weeks, she will need to stay in Never Land until delivery and her baby pirate can return at age 6 months. Based on your sea pup’s due date, your pirate crew may need to contact your travel agent or Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to either change the dates of your cruise or cancel the reservation. You should do this as soon as you find out you are expecting as there may be some cancellation fees or loss of deposit if you wait until the last minute to cancel. Adam, thank you for visiting us here and please free to come back and see us real soon!
