Hi Kayla,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing your question to us. My family almost always drives to Walt Disney World, so it’s a pleasure to assist a fellow road-tripper!
As long as you have a credit card on file with the front desk, you will absolutely be able to participate in Disney’s
Express Check-Out for Resort Guests. Any remaining charges on your resort folio will be charged to that credit card, and you will be able to take a look at your bill in the My Disney Experience mobile app – it’s located under “Reservation and Tickets” and then “Resort Reservation.” A copy of your bill will also be emailed to you after check-out.
Kayla, if you have any questions or concerns about your check-out plan, feel free to stop by the front desk at your resort hotel at any point during your visit. Walt Disney World Cast Members have so much magical knowledge, and they want to help you make sure your vacation goes off smoothly so you can focus on making amazing memories.
Here’s my road-tripper pro-tip: we always stop at the
Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom Park to load up on Disney treats. Having Mickey Krispie Treats, colorful lollipops, and the one-and-only theme park popcorn to munch on in the car somehow makes the trip home a little easier, and a little more magical. We also have fun reading online stories about theme park attractions, watching Disney movies, and telling our favorite stories from our vacation.
Wishing you safe travels and a magical vacation,
Robyn
