I've read about character meet and greets appearing on the riverboat in Liberty Square. Does this still occur for October 2016?

    Hello Tracy,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your character meet and greet question. Getting to interact with the characters is one of my favorite things to do in the Disney Parks. They are such fun and unique experiences each and every time.

I do vaguely remember there being something like that on the riverboat many years ago. However, I have not seen that in recent years. Currently, you can often find Jesse or Woody from Disney-Pixar film, Toy Story in Liberty Square at Rivers of America Crossing. If the Liberty Belle is running, you might even catch it in the background of those photos. Keep in mind that character experiences can change or vary day to day. To find the most current schedule while you are there, you can check a times guide or download the My Disney Experience mobile app. This app is a fantastic and handy tool with interactive maps, up to the minute wait times for attractions, dining menus as well as finding the closest restroom.

Say hi to Mickey and the other characters for me and have a magical trip. October will be here before you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
