Hey there, Tiffany!
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds as if you and your crew are in for an epic treasure hunt. A Pirate's Adventure and seeking Jack's compass is a great way to spend an afternoon in Adventureland. And I am happy to share a few tips and tricks for completing your quests.
Tiffany, to get started with
A Pirate's Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas, you'll want to head on over to The Crow's Nest. You can
find this hidden gem just past the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, across from
Pecos Bill. Pick up your talisman, your treasure map, and get ready for an adventure! There are a total of five different missions, and each will take about 20 minutes. I would recommend at least an hour and a half to finish the entire treasure hunt.
Pro tip: You do not have to complete the entire quest at once! You can get started, take a break to enjoy your favorite attraction, grab some grub, and get back to the task at hand. You can even choose to break up the mission over multiple days.
Now let's talk about Captain Jack Sparrow's compass. As you know, the compass is very important to Jack, and he keeps it close. Very close! If you want to see his compass, you'll have to find the pirate himself, or solve one of the missions in A Pirate's Adventure. Jack traditionally hangs out
near Tortuga Tavern, and like most pirates, his hours vary. You can see an up-to-date list of times Jack is around to chat about his compass and tall tales in the
My Disney Experience app. Think of this app as your own personal treasure map. You can use the app to find characters throughout Walt Disney World, check wait times,
use Mobile Food Ordering, and so much more. It may just be more important than the compass you seek!
I hope your upcoming adventure is magical!
