I have read that you can't bring an extension cord or power strip on-board. However, we are going from our cruise to WDW for a 4 night additional stay. I will definitely need the power strip there. Suggestions on how to handle this? TIA!

    Ahoy Betsy –

Thanks for coming to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are so excited to hear about your Land and Sea Vacation at Walt Disney World followed by a dreamy Disney Cruise. My pirate crew loves to experience the adventure of the Disney Parks combined with the luxury of a Disney Cruise.  We are planning to go next month and I understand your dilemma. We have taken our power strip to Walt Disney World and used it for that trip, and then left it in our suitcase once we boarded the Disney cruise ship. As long as you do not plan to use the power strip or extension cord onboard, I believe that it is ok to store it in your luggage.  No one has ever searched our bags for an extension cord or penalized us for having it in our luggage. You should not take it out or leave it in a visible place or it could be confiscated. If that is the case, it should be returned to you at the end of your voyage. Betsy, have fun planning your trip and thank you for coming by.
