    I read that the Californian Grill provided good views of the fireworks show, but I could only get a reservation at 9:35pm. Do you think this is cutting it too close to the fireworks time? Do you have any other recommendations?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so happy to answer your fantastic question about California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort today!

    If Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is taking place at 10:00 PM on the night of your dinner reservation, a 9:35 PM reservation is actually perfect! I recommend that most Guests who want to view the fireworks from their tables make reservations for 9-9:30 PM. You can also head outside to the observation deck during dinner if you prefer to see them outside. Please keep in mind that Guests who dine before or after the fireworks can still watch the fireworks from the lounge or the observation deck. Guests who dine before the fireworks can return and bring their receipt to the check-in desk on the 2nd floor for reentry to California Grill. Guests with reservations which land after the fireworks are invited to watch the show from the lounge or deck with a confirmed reservation.
