    I have read that the buses run about an hour after park closing. We have reservations for 5:00 at Rainforest Cafe on a day that AK closes at 5, and I'm concerned about being done in time to catch a bus. Should we just drive our car that day?

    Hi Virginia!

    This is a great question.

    In general, I recommend driving your own car everywhere within Walt Disney World except to the Magic Kingdom.  Driving around Walt Disney World is easy and you can get to places faster!  That will be true for the Animal Kingdom as well.

    However, if you don't want to drive you own car, you can take Disney transportation back after your dinner.  Disney does have a late bus running back to the resorts for those guests who stay to have dinner in the Rainforest Cafe.  However, you might have to wait a little bit for the bus to leave and it may stop at a lot of resorts instead of just going back to your resort area.
