    I've read on other blogs that New Years Eve has been celebrated on Dec 30 and Dec 31 in Magic Kingdom. Will it be the case this year too?

    Hi Kevin,

    My family and I have been lucky enough to see the New Year in at the Walt Disney World Resort twice during recent years and I can tell you that it is simply amazing!

    Typically, December 30 at the Magic Kingdom Park is treated as a rehearsal for New Year's Eve complete with a showing of the "Fantasy in the Sky" Fireworks Spectacular and DJ dance party.

    Both times my family have been at the Walt Disney World Resort at this time of year, we went to the Magic Kingdom Park on December 30 and Epcot on December 31 which enabled us to see the New Year's Eve offerings at both Disney Parks.

    The Park Schedule on the Walt Disney World website does not currently list the "Fantasy in the Sky" Fireworks Spectacular as taking place at the Magic Kingdom Park on December 30 or 31, 2016 but, based on previous years, I would be very surprised if this doesn't happen.

    My best advice to you would be to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see if any posts are released regarding New Year's Eve offerings at the Walt Disney World Resort this year and if all else fails, be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort or speak to a Cast Member, to find out if the "Fantasy in the Sky" Fireworks Spectacular will be taking place on December 30 & 31, 2016.
