I read on a blog that you can use a quick service meal credit on three snack or side items as long as they were bought in the same transaction. Is this correct?

    Hi, Samantha!

I see that we share the same first name and our home state!  I guess it really is a small world after all!  It sounds like we may also share a love of delicious Walt Disney World snacks.

One thing that is so great about the Disney Dining Plan is that it allows for quite a bit of flexibility.  It sounds like the blog post that you read may have been referring to purchasing snack items during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival or the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.    During Festivals, guests may use one Disney Dining Plan quick-service entitlement for three snack items, as long as the three snacks are purchased at the same time from the same Festival kiosk.  At other times, it is at the discretion of the restaurant as to if they are willing to exchange entitlements.

Since you are arriving in the summer, outside of the Epcot Festival dates, you do have another option if you would like to use some of your quick-service meals for snack items.  Simply visit the concierge at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, and they can convert one quick-service meal into three snacks.  My family has done this at the end of our Walt Disney World vacation when we have had unused quick-service credits.  By exchanging them for snack entitlements, we were able to purchase some goodies to take home with us.

Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with as you get ready for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.  See ya real soon!
