Read that it is better to take a taxi from one resort to another when trying to make ADR. Will be going from AKL to WL for ADR at Whispering Canyon. Do we need car seats for the taxi? Will be flying and taking disney trans. so not bringing our own.

    Hi Carla,

In general, there are a line of taxis in front of the resorts that you can just "hail" with the help of Bell Services at your resort.  I've stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and we used taxis several times with no problem.  Regarding car seats, the driver won't insist that your children be in seats, however, the taxis located in a queue in front of the resort generally do not have seats available either.  If you would like a taxi with car seats, I recommend speaking to the concierge at the resort, and they can call a taxi service and request a van or car with seats on your behalf.  Florida law does not require that taxis provide car seats, but as a nervous mom, I understand your concern.  We've requested taxis with safety seats many times, and while we had to wait a bit, felt more assured of our kids safety.

    Hope this helps!

    Have a great trip!
