I read on here that there is a bag check before getting to the gates. What items are disallowed, other than the obvious weapons, alcohol etc.? Are water bottles ok?

    Hi, Sara!

Great question!  Yes, there is a bag check at the entrance to each theme park.  You are welcome to bring tote bags, backpacks, or small coolers. No coolers on wheels and no wagons.  You can read the website listing of all restricted items.

As far as what can be in your bags:  You are allowed to bring snacks, sandwiches, water bottles, or  juice boxes.

So I know you are dying to know what I bring in my bag each day to the theme parks!  Here are my "must haves!"

    -Autograph books, pens, camera
    -Hats, sunglasses
    -Crackers, water bottles, juice boxes
-Change of t-shirts for the kids
    -WetWipes, tissues

Bag check is quick and easy.  Have your bag open and ready for inspection to speed things along.  There should be no surprises at bag check, the restricted items are all pretty much common sense.   Have fun packing your bags for a days of magic in the theme parks!
