I just read that you can ask for a recipe at the Walt Disney World restaurants. Is that true?

    Hi Kellie!

Walt Disney World is home to some of the best food I've ever had.  It is certainly true that you can ask for the recipe of your favorite dish.  Beaches & Cream Soda Shop makes the best ever grilled cheese.  I know, it's a grilled cheese, but it's seriously amazing!  I asked for the recipe and would never have guessed what was in it and now it's on dinner rotation in my house.  I have also asked for the recipe for a couple items from Biergarten Restaurant and California Grill.  Sometimes the recipes for the most popular dishes are already printed out for guests who request them.  Next time I am at Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, I'm going to ask for the recipe for the Winter Squash Soup.  Yummy!

You can also find recipe books in select gift shops that only feature recipes from restaurants at Walt Disney World.  Each recipe will tell you what restaurant it was from, which I find super interesting.  I have one from about 16 years ago that has the best ever chicken alfredo that I believe was from Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano back in the day.

Be sure to have a notebook and pen with you when you dine on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

Bon appetit and have a magical day!
