Welcome to planDisney Crystal. We get questions about this cool restaurant all the time. I mean it's not like any other experience on Earth, dining here is out of this world! Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
Space 220 is a restaurant in the Mission: SPACE pavilion where visitors can dine in a setting designed to replicate being 220 miles above Earth. When you first enter for your reservation, you will enter a unique space elevator and ascend leaving
EPCOT below. While you ascend to be amongst the stars, you can see Spaceship Earth shrink to what looks like a golf ball. Reservations are highly recommended for this dining experience and fill up quickly. You can also ask on the day of your visit if there is a walk-up list available to join. If you plan to see the sunset it takes about 15 minutes and is always scheduled to happen at local sunset time which is Eastern Standard Time, today's sunset was 8:07 p.m. This prix-fixe restaurant is very popular and for good reason. The viewports that surround you while you dine give an amazing aerial view and whether it is lunch or dinner the modern American cuisine is worth visiting space to get a taste.
Your visit is right around the corner and since you plan on being at EPCOT I feel like I have to tell you about some of the fun I had in March while we enjoyed the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. My favorite part of the festival is always going to be the Outdoor Kitchens. The plates they pump out of those booths are nothing short of amazing. Since you are already eating a meal my recommendation will be not to miss the
Garden Rocks Concert Series, check out the list to see what artist aligns with your dates. There are 3 performances a day so you should be able to catch a glimpse of whichever artist is rocking the stage.
You folks are gonna have an amazing time and I hope this information is helpful for planning for your visit. If you need any other advice, please reach back out and
ask me a question. I will be happy to help.
See ya real soon,
Jeremy A.
