I've read some answers about walking from the Paradise Pier Hotel to the parks. I'm wondering if the walking path is private? I'm basically trying to avoid being "off property" during our stay.

Howdy, Erin! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

I have walked the path from Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel to the parks several times, so I'd love to fill you in! The entire walking path, which takes you past the Disneyland Hotel and into the Downtown Disney District, is all considered Disney property. Additionally, whenever I made this short journey, I never felt like I left the "Disney bubble," as I like to call it. The path is a public area, so it's not private, but will still have all the Disneyland Resort signage and impeccable landscaping and beauty that you expect from any Disney property.

Once you're in the Downtown Disney District, you can stop at some of the many stores or grab a bite to eat. Or, you can hop on the Disneyland Monorail which will take you inside Disneyland Park and drop you off in Tomorrowland. The close proximity to the parks from the hotels is one of the many things that I absolutely love about the Disneyland Resort. Everything is within footsteps of one another and you are immersed in the Disney magic the entire time when you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel.

I hope this helps! Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have!
