I have read some answers on birthday's but I don't know what to do first on celebrating my daughter's 4th birthday, the birthday buttons? where do you get them? Also, how does Disney celebrate the child's birthday? what do I need to do?

First, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, have your daughter's birthday noted on your reservation. Also mention it to the Cast Member at Check In. We have often received balloons and autograph pictures when celebrating a special occasion. This is not a guarantee but Cast Members try to sprinkle as much magic as they can. Give them the opportunity to grant some wishes.

When you enter the Magic Kingdom, as soon as you go under the train station, go to your left towards City Hall. Inside you will find Guest Services. Ask the Cast Member for a birthday button.

Tell your hostess and server at every place that you dine that your daughter is celebrating her birthday. Magical things will often happen. For instance, Chef Mickey’s brings a complimentary cupcake although personalized cakes can be ordered at an additional fee.

If you are staying at a WDW resort, call the operator and ask for the birthday message. You might hear a Goofy birthday wish.

    Have a wonderful birthday!
