Hi there, Debra!
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for bringing a great question our way regarding your
Annual Passholder benefits. Having that special ticket to the
Walt Disney World Resort is truly a blessing that allows you to experience the magic in a different way throughout the year. I’m happy to share the details of how you can add Memory Maker, a product offered by
Disney’s PhotoPass Service, to your account.
You are correct in that the
$169 price you see online is for a pre-arrival Memory Maker, typically associated with regular theme park tickets, and which is only valid for 30 days as it assumes you are taking a one-time vacation. The $99 offer is for Photo Downloads associated with your Annual Pass which means ALL your photos for the whole year! While this costs less, it's not that it offers less product but is a special offer exclusive to Annual Passholders. This was an option visible online when renewing or purchasing your Annual Pass, but you may certainly add it on now, too! Please note that the $99 offer is not prorated if added later in the year while your pass is valid.
To add this offer to an existing Annual Pass, you must either
visit Guest Relations in person at the Walt Disney World Resort or
call the Ticketing office to add it over the phone and save time on your next visit.
I love having Memory Maker for all my special photos captured by the incredible PhotoPass photographers and the fun on-attraction photos from our visits throughout the year. I’m so glad you asked so that you can take advantage of this offer soon.
Be sure and stay up to date on any
Passholder benefits that may suit your vacation style, Debra! When browsing the Walt Disney World website, make sure you are always logged into your Disney account with the Annual Passholder affiliation to see any new
special offers on resorts and other activities, too.
Please let us know how else we can help you maximize the magic during this special year of visiting the Walt Disney World Resort as an Annual Passholder!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Amy
