Hi, Reagan! Thank you so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question.
You do not need to do anything ahead of the big day when Walt Disney World ticket sales resume again July 9th, 2020, as announced on the
Disney Parks Blog. If too many guests are coming to the Walt Disney World Resort website simultaneously, you will then see the use of the virtual waiting rooms. If traffic is heavy, instead of going right to the page where you may
purchase your tickets, you will instead get a fun little animated picture with a timer below it. Reagan, do not close that window, and do not refresh the page! That is your virtual waiting room. If things don't slow down by the time your timer runs down, it may start over. DON'T FRET! Just keep on swimming (that is what Dory tells us to do), and the virtual waiting room will continue holding your place in line. If traffic is not too heavy, you will proceed as normal to purchase your tickets.
Once you have those tickets purchased for everyone who will be visiting with you, link them all to your
My Disney Experience account. Once you are all set, head over to the
Disney Park Pass Reservation system to select which park you will visit each day.
Stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Walt Disney World Resort website for any changes as situations evolve that may affect your upcoming visit.
Have a magical day, Reagan!
