I read on allears.net about a family who purchased a birthday cake from one of the Disney bakeries to be delivered to their table at Chef Mickey's for a birthday celebration. Is it possible to do this at other restaurants and how would you arrange that?

You may order a cake to be enjoyed at most table service restaurants by calling 407-WDW-CAKE or WDW-DINE when making other dining reservations.

For more information on celebrating a birthday at WDW, see here. Don't forget that in 2009, WDW is offering free birthday admission.

A great resource for cakes can be found by searching "disboards cake thread" in google. You'll even find pictures of different cakes that guests have ordered!
