I read on that the Animal Kingdom has Picnic in the Park. Is there such an offering at any other parks? Is it on the Dining Plan? The pictures look delicious!

The Picnic in the Park is a new offering at the Animal Kingdom. There are currently no similar picnic lunches available at the other parks. The Picnic in the Park does participate in the Disney Dining Plan. This program uses Quick Service (also known as counter service) credits when you are on the Disney Dining Plan. There is one twist, however. The Picnic in the park can only be paid for with Adult Quick Service credits. So this means that a family of two adults and two children would need to use four Adult QS credits. Or, as an alternative, you could order the Picnic in the park for three, using three Adult QS credits, and have the children share a meal. I have not had a chance to try the picnic yet, but from what I hear the portions are quite generous.
