I just read that you can get an alcoholic beverage on the Disney dining plans? Is that for the 2018 dining plan or 2017 as well?

    Hi Sarah,

Thank you for stopping by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Glad to know you are thinking about a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.

My family loves the Dining Plans since it let us prepay for our meals in advance. It is so convenient and the cost simply is added to the Magic Your Way Vacation Package. Now my family's dilemma is figuring out which restaurants to choose. So many!

For 2018, the Dining Plans will let you select from additional beverage options like smoothies and milk shakes. And Guests 21 and over can even select from alcoholic beverages like wine or beer. Just visit the description page for your chosen plan, for more information.

One last tip: remember to book advanced dining reservations up to 180 days early. You can do it online, or simply use the My Disney Experience mobile app. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
