Hi Martha,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
Although
Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules stipulate that, as a general rule, Guests over the age of 14 may not wear costumes in Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, you’ll be happy to know that these rules are definitely being relaxed for Guests attending
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
Please click on the link I’ve provided above and click on the section entitled “Costume Guidelines”. There, you’ll find a list of rules and regulations regarding the types of costumes that will be permitted for Guests over the age of 14 who are attending the Party. These rules include: Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g. full-length Princess dresses); Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist; and, no masks of any kind. In addition, acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords, and tutus. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
I hope my answer helps you plan your spooky upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
