Hey, hey space traveler Guadalupe and welcome back the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be the biggest attraction to Disney's Hollywood Studios the universe has ever seen when it opens August 29, 2019. The success experienced at Disneyland Park has paved the way for the Florida location hopefully with a smooth system. Disneyland Resort has tried several strategies to reduce wait times and make sure a visit to the Black Spire Outpost not only fills you with adventure but also fills your stomach with alien delicacies that could only be made on Batuu. I cannot wait to visit the
Milk Stand for some green or blue milk, have a drink at
Oga's Cantina, bring home a new pet from the
Creature Stall, and
build my own droid.
I would not worry about getting into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge to immerse yourself in the experience. Currently, there are no plans for any type of reservations system whether or not you stay at a Disney Resort hotel. It will be determined by the capacity and every Guest must have a valid theme park ticket. I recommend you stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest information as it gets closer to opening. I think by November that both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios will have many of the crowd level issues resolved and information about access will clearly be explained on the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge webpage.
Disney Dad Tip: With regard to visiting in November, I would book a Disney Resort hotel reservation and begin planning my trip. You will be well prepared should you decide to go. If you are making one trip to Walt Disney World Resort to visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge over the next year, then I would consider waiting for the opening date of
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to be announced. This attraction is said to be the greatest experience ever created for a Disney theme park.
May the Force be with you.
Guadalupe, enjoy making many Magical Memories at the Black Spire Outpost.
