    Re: whispering canyon. I see that the family style meal isn't offered for lunch anymore - i was wondering if it might come back for peak season in July - has it happened before? - If not I'm going to change my ADR. Suggestion for lunch not in a park? TX

    Hi Helen!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Disney reserves the right to change the menu offerings at various restaurants at any time.  The change to the Whispering Canyon Cafe's menu is relatively new so we really don't know what will happen this summer.  However, there are still some great items on the lunch menu so I suggest still going there.

    That said, if you want other places, I would recommend considering:
    • Big River Grill at the Boardwalk
    • Kona Cafe at the Polynesian
    • The Wave at the Contemporary Resort
    • Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club
