Hello, Jean! Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question as you plan to set sail with the Disney Cruise Line. Welcome!
I want to extend gratitude to you and your family for the service you have provided to our country. As a proud daughter of a military service member, I know firsthand the sacrifices that are required. Thank you!
I reached out to a Guest Services Agent of the Disney Cruise Line to ask which military identification is acceptable as a
form of proof for the military offers. To take advantage of the
Special U.S. Military Rates, proof of military status must be provided at check-in. The accepted documents are a DD Form 2, DD Form 1173, or DD Form 2765.
I was quite pleased with the number of itineraries that offer the Special U.S. Military Rates! You may enjoy utilizing the
Planning Tools on the Disney Cruise Line website to help choose your perfect cruise. If you are a first-time guest of the Disney Cruise Line and are within a reasonable travel distance to Florida, I highly recommend an itinerary out of Port Canaveral that visits Disney's private island of
Castaway Cay. It's a beautiful island paradise with stunning beaches, plentiful activities, and delicious food. It's definitely a highlight of any itinerary!
If you think of any more questions to ask as you prepare for your voyage, please visit us again. My panel pals and I are always happy to help.
Have a day full of magic,
Adrianna
