Re Memory Maker and Photopass. What is the difference between the two and are photos taken on the rides included in the photos we receive? Do we just pay $169 per group of people? Who takes the photos and do we have just a certain number of photos?

Hello, Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney PhotoPass Service allows you to have all your pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers, as well as ride photos, all in one place that you can access online. Once you return home from your vacation, you can visit the Disney PhotoPass website and view all your PhotoPass photos. Your photos are available to purchase individually as well as photo related merchandise. There is no fee to use this service and you are not obligated to purchase any of the photos taken.

Disney Memory Maker is used alongside Disney PhotoPass Service. Memory Maker allows you to download each and every Disney PhotoPass picture taken of your family and all ride photos for one flat cost. If you are purchasing Memory Maker, do so at least three days in advance of your arrival so you are able to take advantage of the advance purchase discount. One Memory Maker purchase will include all pictures taken of each individual in your group, provided they are linked to you as a friend or someone you manage in your My Disney Experience account. Be sure to enable photo sharing under their profiles in your My Disney Experience.

The Memory Maker savings quickly adds up when you see how many photos Disney PhotoPass photographers take. I am always surprised how many there are! The best part is that each and every one is yours to download and have forever. No decision making required to fit within a budget.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Lisa!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
