    re use magic bands or get new ones ?

    Hey, Susan!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Magic Bands are reusable and you can activate or deactivate any Magic band that is linked to your My Disney Experience account. 

    Also, each guest that reserves a Walt Disney World vacation packages, including a resort room, receives Magic bands that can be customized.  There have been times when our family chooses not to receive the complimentary Magic Bands and use one of their liking. My Pirate and Princess really love to use their special Magic Bands with their favorite characters instead of the colored bands with no characters. 

    Deciding if you want to reuse a Magic Band is completely left up to you, as Magic Bands can last up to 6 years! Just be sure to manage the correct Magic Bands in your My Disney Experience account to ensure that there are no problems once you arrive to Walt Disney World.
