re: Epcot Coral Reef Restaurant; considering a reservation here but have a squeamish friend, so could anyone confirm that the fish in the tank don't end up on your plate? that you don't order mahi mahi and look sideways to a fish going "Mom? Is it you

Oh, Holly, thanks for putting a smile on my face tonight! Tell your friend that she's safe, and so are the fish in the tank! While there is fish on the menu, it definitely is not swimming next to you before it ends up on your plate. At Coral Reef you will see lots of tropical fish, big and small, and sea turtles swimming by as you enjoy your lunch or dinner. It's one of my family's favorite spots and really takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the parks for a bit while you enjoy the view.

I hope you and your friend have a wonderful time, but maybe she should order the chicken so she can relax and enjoy the view.  ;)
