re cabins at Fort Wilderness-can you request certain sections & if so where would be best location will be coming in Nov with a 1 & 2 yr. old

    Linda:

Our family LOVES Fort Wilderness and its outdoors, laid-back feel!

You can certainly request "loops" for your cabin choice--and our family does it every trip.  Just call Disney reservations or whomever booked your trip to make the request.  Different loops (subdivision streets) are near different things....

Unlike the resorts, each loop is fairly close to a bus stop.  But, if you'd like, make a note on your reservation to be put near the "front" of your loop, rather than the back, to get closer to a bus stop.

Here's what I recommend for different amenities:

    • Loop 2100 for The Meadows Trading Post and Chip 'n' Dale Campfire
    • Loop 2500 or the laundry room and quiet pool
    • Loop 2800 for a nice 8-minute walk to the Outpost and to avoid taking an internal bus to get there (only if you've got a stroller for the little ones)
    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
