Ahoy there, Jose! Welcome to
planDisney, the place to go when you have Disney vacation planning questions. I'm happy to assist you with your question today!
There are a couple of differences between the documents required by Mexican immigration officers and the
document required by Disney Cruise Line. All children who leave Mexico with another family member who isn't a parent or legal guardian must travel with the original documents and two copies of a notarized authorization letter, an apostille, and a translation. From what you wrote, I'm assuming that these are the documents that you already have.
However, Disney Cruise Line does require the
Authorization For Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form to be filled out and notarized in addition to the documents required by Mexican law. On top of that, the form must be presented by the authorized adult during check-in at the port terminal, and it is required for each child traveling without a Parent or Legal Guardian.
Jose, I hope that my answer is able to reach you in time. In any case, the Disney Cruise Line Crew Members are always there to help you out during the check-in process, so don't stress too much about it!
Please don't hesitate to come back and ask us any other questions you might have in English
or in Spanish. We're always happy to help!
