"Welcome home," Karen and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Karen, as a
Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm always excited to chat with other Members of this special club about how to make the most of your points, including
transferring them to RCI®.
First, let's talk about those transferred points. Once you have
deposited points into the RCI® system, that transaction is non-reversible, meaning they will no longer be able to be used for reservations for Disney Vacation Club, Disney Collection, Concierge Collection or Buena Vista Trading Company. Karen, you can view a list of hotels and resorts available through RCI®
HERE. Now, while it is possible a Disney Resort Hotel might pop up through RCI® in the future, currently no Disney Resort Hotels are available. While you can't use those points at the Walt Disney World Resort, hopefully you are able to search through the list of destinations and find an exciting option!
Karen, if a trip to
the Most Magical Place on Earth is truly what your heart desires, I would encourage you to take a look at the
Special Offers section in case something fits in your budget, outside of your Disney Vacation Club Membership. Sometimes I find myself in need of some Magic, but have used all of my points, so I will search for a good deal and book a cash reservation. This is also a great way to try out a
Disney Resort Hotel that isn't available to book through Disney Vacation Club. My favorite is the
Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I love the opulent aesthetic of this resort and the great dining options there like the
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago.
Karen, I hope this helps clear up your point usage and give you some ideas to spark your next vacation. Wherever you choose to relax and recharge, I hope your trip is straight out of a Fairytale. Please come back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have. We are all EARS!
Lauren
