Ahoy Jana!
Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you may be planning a high seas adventure with your pirates-in-training! I can't wait for you to share all of the
magic included when you sail with Captain Mickey, especially the incredible youth spaces onboard!
Disney Cruise Line
youth clubs do operate within set ratios based on Florida State guidelines. In my experience with my own children over the years in the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab, the ratio of Youth Counselors to guests in these spaces fluctuates throughout the cruise. I often found that sometimes my young sailors had almost one on one time with the Youth Counselors if they were in the youth clubs while the ship was in port. Conversely, during the evenings, especially after the first dinner seating, the youth clubs were busier.
Each day there are scheduled activities in both the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab. The details of all of these activities can be found in your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. You will find more team and game play activities in the evenings when there are more guests in the youth clubs. My son LOVED nights in the youth spaces as this is when he met the most friends and was able to play larger games on the interactive play floor!
Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions as you plan your magical getaway!
