Hello, when will rates for 2026 be released for hotel and tickets?

    Hello Mariela!

One of my favorite things about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is the planning. And, since you are keen on booking your January 2026 trip, you are probably the planner of the family. While no pricing is available yet, we can look to the past to make an educated guess as to when they will be announced. I would expect that your January dates will be announced in the next one to six weeks. Keep an eye out on the Walt Disney World website and also the Disney Parks Blog. They have the most up-to-date information.

While you wait, I encourage you to dream while looking over all of the amazing resort choices. With over 25 incredible resort options, there’s a magical place waiting for you! Here are a few of my favorites:

Value Category: Disney's Pop Century Resort was the first resort my family visited so it ihas a special place in my heart. Also, the Disney Skyliner access is so handy!

Moderate Category: Another family favorite is Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. The compact nature of the resort and relaxing boat ride to Disney Springs make it a superb choice.

Deluxe Category: There’s no wrong choice here, but today my pick would be Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. The incredible theming coupled with its proximity to Magic Kingdom makes this a standout.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
