Rates for Disney hotels Prefer Californian but Pixar & Disneyland Hotel rates will help me determine my budget 6 nights

Hey there, Ken! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question!

I must admit, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel has always been my favorite, too! There is something magical about being only a few pixie-dusted steps away from Disney California Adventure Park. The Craftsman-style design, incredible lobby, relaxing pools, and unbeatable location keep drawing me back again and again. I spent some time in front of the large fireplace on a recent visit, and even though it was summer outside, it felt like a cozy redwood retreat inside, perfect for the fire. It is one of my favorite places to have a slow down and relax.

That said, I recently stayed in the Villas at Disneyland Hotel, and I was absolutely enchanted! The rooms felt fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed while still being filled with Disney magic. I loved the bathrooms, with a bathtub and stunning colors and tile. It quickly became a new favorite place to stay at the Disneyland Resort!

The good news is that you really can't go wrong with any of the three Disneyland Resort hotels. Having stayed at all of them, I can assure you, each one offers its own unique charm:

    • Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers the closest proximity to the parks, a private entrance to Disney California Adventure Park, beautiful pools, and a luxurious lodge atmosphere.
Disneyland Hotel is classic Disney nostalgia at its finest, with multiple pools, themed towers, great dining options, and those newly opened Villas that are seriously gorgeous.
Pixar Place Hotel has a playful Pixar-inspired theme, rooftop pool area, character touches throughout the hotel, and generally offers the most budget-friendly option of the three.

Disneyland Resort recently opened hotel reservations and vacation package bookings for 2027, so now is a great time to start planning!

Since rates can vary significantly based on your exact travel dates, my best recommendation is to visit the Disneyland Resort website and price out your six-night stay. The booking tool will allow you to compare Disney's Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel side-by-side for both availability and pricing during your travel window. It's the easiest way to find the practically perfect fit for your budget and vacation style!

I hope this helps as you start planning your magical stay, Ken. Whichever one you choose, you'll be surrounded by Disney magic from rope drop to fireworks! As you continue to plan, come see us anytime with more questions!

    See ya real soon!
